Job Description and Qualification:

Provide HR site leadership and support for the company's global services in Cebu. This role will partner across multiple functions to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives to achieve organizational effectiveness and drive site culture and engagement. In this role you will lead a team of 2 HR Managers in Cebu. You will also be providing HR Client support to the support functions. This role reports to the SVP of HR for Asia with a doted line to the VP of HR for Manila.


  • Manage/coordinate Human Resources for Cebu site, including employee relations, conflict resolution and policy adherence.
  • Contribute in such areas as culture and change management, performance management, compensation and incentive, employee development and assessment, conflict resolution, rewards and recognition, employee retention, advocacy and engagement, talent acquisition and compensation & benefits.
  • Develop policies based on long and short-term strategies for HR needs within the portfolio; Partner with senior managers of portfolio to drive business vision and proactive employer of choice initiatives to drive motivation, diversity, retention, positive work environment, etc.
  • Partner with functional HRMs & key HR process owners to implement proactive employee relations strategies, roll out HR initiatives, & provide local HR support & assistance within given portfolio
  • Maintain HR compliance in accordance with the company’s policies & procedures
  • Act as a partner with operational clients to provide generalist support while leveraging HR strategy and initiatives for maximum business impact for site/s and the company overall.
  • Attends meetings of managers, supervisors, and work units to facilitate effective interpersonal communication among participants and to ascertain human relations and work related problems that adversely affect employee morale and establishment productivity.
  • May develop technical job-related skills training to improve individual work performance either in conjunction with the Training & Development function. Give presentations for company-wide HR communications to employees as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits for Leaves, CAP, EDB accuracy, Headcount etc. and also monitor VIC penetration, Rewards and Recognitions penetration, Un-schedules per FLM, LOP, Absconding, HRAC defects, File closures, Attritions, etc., with a focus on increasing cost efficiency.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years HR business partner experience
  • Experience in a variety of HR functions including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, EEO, employee relations, staffing and HR practices and policies
