Job Description and Qualification:


BASIC FUNCTION:

Create customer interest in company’s products and services; responsible for the development and achievement of sales through direct and indirect sales channels

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Solicit customer requirement by actively visiting and promoting company products and services to existing and potential clients in the assigned area of coverage / industry / business unit

2. Perform clients’ need assessments and define the best product to address their requirements

3. Make sales presentations, explaining benefits and features of products to prospects and clients

4. Submit detailed/complete customer requirement or RFQs to proposal team(s) prior to proposal generation

5. Provide timely, accurate and competitively priced proposal to customers while striving to maintain maximum profit margin

6. Pursue purchase order from client and arrange that they receive the products/services in timely fashion

7. Continue to assist the client with any questions or concerns after sales is made

8. Submit current official business expenses to department head for approval

9. Submit sales itinerary to Admin Assistant and Department Head a week before scheduled visit

10. Generate sales forecasts and create sales reports recording account activities and client meetings

11. Maintain and regularly review/update client’s installed base

12. Review competitors’ products vis-à-vis company’s products to stay competitive

13. Establish and maintain strong relationship with clients

14. Ensure overall customer satisfaction

15. Perform task assigned by immediate superior

Minimum Requirement:

A. Education

Graduate of BS – Instrumentation & Control, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

B. Job-related Experience

At least one (1) year relevant experience in industrial sales

C.       Specific Knowledge

· Intensive knowledge and expertise in product lines and selling strategies

· Client’s business operations and organizational structure, installed base

· Economic and/or market trends, market share and competitor analysis 

D. Skills

Effective oral and written communication skills 
Strong interpersonal skills and a good team-player
Excellent time management skills 
Good negotiation skills and analytical skills
Good public speaking and presentation skills 
Knowledge in computer applications such MS Office and product software
