Job Description and Qualification:

Job Description:
  • Will work closely with the CFO to ensure to have complete, accurate and readily available financial data as well as implement strict controls
  • Safeguard the company's assets by ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness of data for the books
  • Provide guidance, good judgement, and leadership to the team to develop future leaders of the company 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review the books of accounts to ensure correct records
  • Audit internal processes and systems to ensure strict controls are maintained across multiple Accounting sections (General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory)
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and other related documents (i.e. invoices, receipts, ledgers, etc.)
  • Prepare and analyze regular audit reports and provide recommendations on improvements
  • Work with the team to maintain an updated Operation Manual for Accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • A Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
  • Experience in both General Accounting and Control is a must for the position (preferable handled Accounting Controllership not only Financial Controllership)
  • Experience in a leadership role with a sizeable team
  • Experience in retail trading, or distribution company managing various accounting functions such as bookkeeping, payables/disbursements, receivables, and government
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word and excel) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
  • Have experience working in a related industry (retail and wholesale distribution) in consumer durables preferably in furnitures and/or appliances
  • Willing to work in BGC, Taguig
  • Willing to work onsite
