Job Description and Qualification:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage processing of invoices and payments.
  • Supervise daily process routines and provide guidance & training to team in case of queries and issues and co-ordinate implementation of new improved processes and practices in Accounts Payable area
  • Compliance and Control - Ensure closure of internal audits on control matters, compliance with accounting guidelines and controls and process adherence with SSC / Corporate guidelines.
  • Service & Customer Relationship Management - Assess customer satisfaction levels and recommend improvement opportunities to the leadership on an ongoing basis
  • Continual Improvement - Act as internal consultant to process owners and project leads to continually improve process capabilities
  • Managerial Responsibility
    • Review SLA reports and dashboards to assess team performance
    • Identify and initiate process improvement initiatives
    • Manage a team of 10 - 12 executives

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum 6 - 8 years’ experience with an accounting background and have completed business/ accounting qualification.
  • Previous leadership experience within a BPO organization or a shared services center with line management experience of a team of at least 5 staff / team members
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles and their application
  • Knowledge of MS Windows (word/ excel) is a must
  • Knowledge of SAP is a must
