Job Description and Qualification:

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Develop standards and business rules for data quality maintenance and cleanup 
  • Perform day-to-day Cadency operations (i.e. user account maintenance/loads, user security, etc.) 
  • Assist in maintaining database integrity through data validations and maintenance testing 
  • Provide user technical support across global organization as needed. 
  • Assist team’s coordination with IT, Finance and Accounting departments to meet business needs 
  • Provide periodic training to new/intermediate users as needed 
  • Maintain documentation of system processes, reports and system functionality 
  • Conduct UAT during system migrations, identify gaps, and provide recommendations 
  • Serves as resource for business users in Cadency problem solving and reporting 
  • Monitor and support achievement of key performance metrics. 
  • Display organizational savvy and leverage networks to bring information and points of view from others inside and outside DBS operations. 
  • Conduct analysis to quantify and support the level of resources required to successfully implement changes to the business process. 
  • Provide input to ongoing policy governance and compliance of work instructions and policies. Coordinate with operations on work instruction development and maintenance across global locations. Understand process controls and report observations to the RTR Business Transformation Lead. 
  • Support overall training strategy development and needs assessment, including updates of global training materials. Coordinate with operational leads to support training delivery as needed 
  • Identify and escalate (if necessary) process deviations that are not driven by local, regulatory or tax considerations 
  • Conceive and present improvement opportunities which reduce costs and improve process value. Consistently promote integration of best practices and leading trends 
  • Coordinate and engage with key stakeholder groups across the SSC, Global and Local/BU functional teams. Support change management and communication efforts for critical transformation projects 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in AccountingFinanceBusiness AdministrationFinancial Information Systems or any related course.
  • 2-4 years corporate accounting and/or financial analysis experience with shared service companies
  • Comprehension for Business Transformation Process is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office; knowledge with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a plus
  • Preferably with understanding of accounting processes mixed with financial systems knowledge
  • Skilled with applications and systems; LongviewOracleTrintech Cadency or any identical systems
