Job Description and Qualification:

Job Summary: 
 
This role reports directly to the Director of Business Solutions, based out of USA. We are looking for a highly motivated and self-directed Analytics Manager to lead a small but growing team of Analysts. The Manager partners with internal clients and data providers, leveraging analytics and statistical techniques to drive strategic thought and effective decision making. The Analyst provides a clear, strategic vision and a plan for bringing actionable, innovative analytic solutions to help functional leads make data and insights led decisions. 
The successful candidate for this position will be an analytical thinker, performs well under tight deadlines and is highly attentive to details. This is a dynamic, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment requiring rigorous analytical approach to problem solving with extreme attention to detail. The ideal candidate should perform exceptionally as an individual and team member. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and coach a department of 1-2 Analysts that’s expected to grow over time.   
  • Enable senior management to make informed, data-based driven decisions by providing predictive analytics, particularly in areas where data is difficult to assess or is unreliable and a high level of analytical skill is required. 
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of sales, customer support, marketing, and business strategies. 
  • Proactively assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering and integration, centralization techniques. 
  • Oversees the collection and transformation of data. 
  • Oversees delivery of data needs to business units. 
  • Interprets requests for data, and delivers results in a form that is understandable and answers the need of the business unit by building, implementing and maintaining customer support, sales, engineering and business intelligence reporting.
  • Create custom dashboards for executive leadership tracking key performance indicators, trends and conduct statistical analysis of data.
  • Develops and presents the Data Analytics Department annual strategic plan 
Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of experience conducting data analysis, manipulating and connecting disparate data sets through, providing business intelligence, reporting and dashboard visualizations to key stakeholders
  • An ideal candidate has equivalent experience to those with a B.A./B.S. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics or another quantitative field  
  • Required experience using statistical programming or database query language to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. 
  • Experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers: Google Analytics, Adwords, Salesforce, CPQ etc. 
  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders
