Job Description and Qualification:

The role will lead two important verticals within HR function: HR Business Partner and HR Operations functions, in Manila, Philippines. 

Job description: 

  • Responsible for developing and delivering the human capital strategy and HR results to strengthen workforce performance aligned to business objectives.
  • Support the Head of HR as human capital ambassador that oversee the people in the organization and deliver HR services that meet the needs of both the company and its employees.

This can include defining requirements and confirming suitability of HR strategy, programs, processes and services, monitoring effectiveness of existing HR programs and services, and engaging with HR service delivery on issues and resolution.

  • The role holder will take strategic directions from the stakeholders, and would mostly work independently to deliver on the functional plan. S/he will have the freedom to implement/come up with solutions that would yield maximum benefits to the business and clients. 

Key accountabilities:

  • Develop and drive the implementation of overall employee relations, HR service delivery and talent strategy that is aligned to business objectives. A strategic business partner driving the human capital strategy to support the senior leaders in the achievement of business goals.
  • Build partnership with business leads to align people relations strategy and execution of seamless HR operational support and to ensure plans is suitable for purpose within a changing business environment.
  • Successful delivery of daily operational activities and business process to address key workforce issues such as employee records management, benefits administration, performance management and differentiation, talent pipeline and employee readiness, overall manager capability, retention, global mobility process and other related talent and organizational priorities.
  • HR operations includes complete management of Workday (HRMS), maintenance of all employee records, vendor management, contracting, HR audit, ensuring compliance with processes etc. Lead Payroll and Benefits administration including management of monthly payroll, leave management, employee reimbursements, and employee exits, full and final payments.
  • Adhered to standard processes to ensure the functions is 100% compliant to all our internal policies and procedures as well as that is required by the law land.
  • Manage and ensure accuracy and timely submission of analytics around functional reporting to the leadership team. Perform analysis on various HR metrics and trends to develop solutions, programs and policies. Evaluate employee separation process and exit interviews to formulate attrition mitigation plans. 
  • Design & execute employee engagement strategy that promotes a motivating and encouraging work environment to ensure high level of employee engagement, employee experience and retention rate based on balanced score card/ HR goals.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development (L&D) Team to implement training plan and organization development initiatives. Team up with L&D to build bench strength for critical roles through organizational capability review / Talent reviews to strengthen internal talent pipeline.
  • Initiates innovative HR services with the delivery and execution of total rewards initiatives in HR Automation to improve productivity, streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and ensure swift delivery of information & services.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels and promote an energizing and open work environment to ensure high level of employee engagement.

Required skills:

  • Experienced Human Resource Leader with more than 15 years of related experience with strong background in HR strategic business partnering and HR service delivery & operations and ideally in shared services industry.
  • Experienced organizational leader, with deep business acumen, project management, and process efficiency, data analysis, proven ability to understand strategic organizational issues, and lead and influence change.
  • Knowledgeable and adherence to company and statutory rules related to payroll, benefits, employee compensation and Philippine labor law.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a matrix, demonstrate agility in a fast moving organization, team oriented environment, customer centric  and cultivate strong relationships, is a must.
  • A capable and confident communicator and people manager, with strong personal presence and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the organization, including nights and weekends as required.
  • Knowledge in implementing HRIS (workday) and Payroll Systems.
