Job Description and Qualification:

Responsibilities:

·         Provide Technical Leadership on DevOps platforms as it relates to both On-Prem and Azure cloud platforms.

·         Research tools and provide guidance around platform strategy, technology, operations, and integration efforts.

·         Provide Technical Leadership for Platform Analysts and Release Engineers.

·         Define best practices and policy to improve operational efficiency

·         Collaborate with key stakeholders, operational support teams, onshore teams, and vendors to ensure requirements are understood

·         Collaborate with application and development teams as needed to respond to inquiries and resolve issues

·         Provide Off hours / On-call support when required.

·         Follow documented procedures to fulfill responsibilities and ensure the maintenance and integrity of ALL process documents.

Resolves persistent platform issues when surfaced by technical support teams

Responsible for the deployment and integration of platform architectures; provides performance enhancements through automation and pushes for enhanced reliability to support product development

Executes scripts based on specifications and standards 

Documents and executes simple software components of larger architectures

Qualifications:

·         College/University graduate (Computer Science or related discipline is preferred) or with previous related work experience

·         Prior development experience / project is a plus.

·         Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes

Tools Specific Knowledge:

·         CI/CD tool: TeamCity / Jenkins

·         SCM: Subversion/Github/Gitlab

·         Code security tools: Fortify, SonarQube, Snyk, Contrast

·         Microsoft Azure

·         Artifactory

·         PowerShell / any scripting language
