Job Description and Qualification:

The Associated Person shall monitor and make sure that the regulatory framework is in place and complied with at all times. He is responsible with the updates, reviews and dissemination of newly issued policy by various regulatory agencies.

The function includes the following:

  • Ensures that all salesmen, trader are registered to the Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Ensures registration and annual renewal of license by the Broker/ Dealer with SEC
  • Pays to SEC not later than one year from the anniversary date of the registration of the salesman, trader their annual fee
  • Issues notice of discontinuation of employment of salesman or associated person to the SEC 7 days upon separation
  • Reports any changes in the information provided in the application from the SEC in writing within seven (7) days of such changes
  • Responsible for supervising other employees, agents, salesmen, officers, directors, clerks and stockholders of the Bank for compliance with the code of rules of regulation adopted for securities
  • Responsible for overseeing compliance with legislative and other regulatory requirements such as notifying the Commission of material changes in information previously filed, maintaining registers, books of accounts and other records, compliance with rules, orders and laws related to trading, issuing confirmation receipts, compliance with margin rules, net capital and other financial requirements
  • Develops procedures and monitors on a daily basis compliance with financial resource requirements
  • Ensures that there is an audit trail which enables compliance with applicable laws, exchange, clearing agencies and other SRO

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have Bachelor's Degree in College
  • Must have knowledge of securities regulation code/fixed income
  • Should have SEC certification
