Job Description and Qualification:

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is looking for a Backup & Storage Administrator to manufacturers of electronic brake systems, Car body electronics, parts, and accessories for motor vehicles and their engines. The work location will be in FTI, Taguig City.

Job Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be at least a Bachelor's/college degree holder of IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or other related courses.
  • At least a minimum of 3 years experience in various IT Systems like Active Directory, Exchange server, Linux and Microsoft server, VMware, Netapp, Identify Access Management, etc.
  • Has good presentation skills
  • Robotic Process Automation skills is an advantage

Required Knowledge/Skills:
  • Storage and Backup Architectural Design and Analysis
  • Storage Administration and Analytics
  • Various Backup Technology Administration
  • Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Application for Automation
  • SQL, PHP, Python, JAVA, Oracle Application Express (ApEx), NetApp FAS/AFF Architecture
  • HP-DP Architecture, NetApp AltaVault, HPE StoreOnce, Operating Systems Architecture (Linux/Windows)
  • Network Protocol and Security
  • Virtualization and Dockerlzation Technology, Oracle Database Architecture, Perl, Shell Scripting

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure implementation and support of various Storage and Backup technologies in compliance with global corporate standards
  • Collaborate with global IT competency and local IT teams to provide a quality solution, support and maintain corporate IT storage/and Backup systems.
  • Innovate and implement new technological strategies and plans in compliance with global IT standards and various business demands.
  • Create and maintain documentation on all managed environment and its processes.
  • Perform technical analysis and troubleshooting for various Storage and Backup appliances/machines.
  • Continuously optimize implemented infrastructure
  • Organize and maintain regular Service Level review process with both IT-customer and service provider
  • Enforce, support and improve relevant security concepts and guideline and ensure compliance with corporate standards
  • Supervise and support external IT service providers as needed.
  • Conduct training for key users, end users and trainer when necessary
  • Act as a co-ordination point for any temporary changes to Service Levels required
  • Ensure that appropriate changes are assessed for their impact on service levels.
