Job Description and Qualification:

We are looking for someone with:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering or related field
  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as some experience with Executive level presentation.
  • Top-notch analytical and organizational skills. Ability to influence, to negotiate, to conceptualize issues and translate ideas into solutions
  • Excellent data analysis and governance skills
  • Comfortable working with large sets of data and using various digital platforms to collaborate with teams.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Excel VBA Macros, Sharepoint
  • A strong ability to adapt to an ever changing environment and the ability to work through internal ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Highly developed planning, organizing and negotiating skills; can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of Automation tools (e.g. RPA) and solutions for End user computing
  • Exposure to workflow solutions
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages (i.e. Python) or low-code/no-code platforms
  • Experience in discovering and/or assessing digitization opportunities

  

On the job you will: 

  • Identify, classify, report and manage EUC Inventory by working collaboratively with Operations Risk and with directions from EUC Manager.
  • Assess EUCs to ensure user solutions adhere to EUC policy and where necessary document and escalate potential risks
  • Work with Digitization & Automation team to identify automation opportunities in the EUC inventory.
  • Create and maintain, weekly/monthly/Quarterly reporting of progress, issues and EUC status.
  • Working with EUC Owners, EUC Champions, and other stakeholders to comply with EUC Standards and the deployment and operation of an EUC Controls.
  • Communicate pertinent information to create work environment that lends itself to the best interests of the EUC Program.
  • Generate validation reports detailing conclusions of the EUC validation and present findings and recommendations to EUC Owners and relevant management committees.
  • Participate in EUC validation projects to conduct robust and comprehensive testing and analysis of various EUCs according to the Manulife Global EUC Standards and relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist with EUC Workflow development and UAT testing and coordination; may perform or assist in other information technology functions and other ad-hoc duties as required; test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations
  • Responsible for executing technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders; developing analysis to support process and project improvements
  • Researches and analyzes improvement opportunities, conducts analysis, prepares recommendations and facilitates efficiency enhancements
  • Develops business requirement documents and specifications
  • Works as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes
  • Analyzes data and work with management to develop creative solutions
  • Proactively identifies issues with workflows and processes; suggests improvements to management
  • Reviews suggested workplans
  • Coordinates ongoing service, maintenance post-implementation
  • Can lead smaller groups where required
  • Good analytical skills, copes with complex situations through deliberate analysis and planning
