Job Description and Qualification:

Responsibilities:
• Accountable for sales growth objective and adhere to company direction in creating new business opportunity and pipeline creation -of new business.
• Identify market and client potential, customer needs and drive new business opportunities in line with business strategy, portfolio and provide complete packaging solutions.
• Conducts company and technical presentations through individual account visits, exhibits, product events, etc. with the intention of attracting and retaining clientele.
• Negotiate with clients to secure the most attractive proposals
• Secure accurate sales forecasting for newly developed accounts, projects, business; and accelerate growth.
• Examine customer specifications and craft business proposals and contracts that fulfil customer requirements.
• Initiate and coordinate with engineering design centre on design requirements, product testing and specifications. Suggest upgrades or added products that may be of interest to clients.
• Able to bring in new clients and foster business relationships to increase sales revenue.
• Able to work independently in developing the strategies and hands-on in implementation.
• Able to drive business development strategies and smooth execution of the project.
• Team player who thrives on deadlines-driven project and deliver under pressure

Qualifications:
• Proven with minimum 5 years’ experience with business development activities.
• Must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree
• Solid experience in packaging industry as Business Development Assistant Manager with hunting role
• Possess strong ability in both hunting and selling skills.
• Possess strong leadership skills and strategic mindset.
• Possess strong ability in planning and organizational skills.
• Possess strong communications and presentation skills.
• Extensive background in plastics packaging, familiar with corrugated and foam is a plus.
• Good knowledge with plastics thermoforming will be added advantage.
• Strong background in new business sales development and comfortable with cold calling.
• Must have driver’s license and willing to travel to perform sales functions
• Ability to read and analyze technical drawings
• Familiar on supplier-customer documents necessary to have the fulfilment of sales such as accreditations, Purchase Order, Delivery Receipts, Sales Invoice and PEZA related documents and process.
• Well-versed with proven ability with MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
