Job Description and Qualification:

The Network and Business Development Officer develops and increases the number of Medical and Allied Network of providers utilized by the Operations team, does daily fieldwork in hospitals and other business establishments, promoting the services of the account promote medical evacuation capabilities to providers and other entities to generate private case inquiries and leads develops business strategies to engage new prospective clients and offer the corporate access program as a service maintains good business relationships, contracting and accreditation of all providers and partners acts as a point of escalation for all provider network issues develop cost containment arrangements, represents the company and leads activities during training, conferences, networking opportunities and other activities as identified by superiors and, obtain and follow up leads for business development that result in long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Sciences (Nursing, Physical Therapy, and other medical courses), Communication Arts, Marketing, Finance or other Business-related courses
  • Prior experience of at least 2-5 years in sales
  • 2 or more years of work experience as a business development officer and medical representative preferred
  • Work experience under industries related to Medical/Travel Assistance, Network Management, Personal, Life, Health insurance, Pharmaceutical, and Corporate Business Development is an advantage. 
  • Has an existing database of providers, partner networks and clients that can be easily tapped
  • Ability to handle or prepare quotations, letters, proposals, billing and the like
  • Knowledge of and can effectively use MS Office programs and other tools needed to perform duties
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills
  • Strong planning, forecasting and project management capability
  • Ability to solve complex problems and conflicts
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
