Job Description and Qualification:


  • Directly reports to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Manages the Demand Planner
  • Deliver business objectives across all functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) of the assigned portfolio/category and to drive engagement between brands and customers while working across functions toward operational efficiency
  • Champions regular business review for the Business Unit
  • Builds and maintains an effective relationship with the principal geared toward mutually growing the business
  • Works closely with the Sales Team to achieve sales targets
  • Coordination of all trade activities from the principal to the Sales Team
  • Monitoring of Trade Spend versus Budget
  • Aligns and cascades Assortment, Merchandising, and Pricing directions with Principals and Sales Team
  • Monitoring of budgets: actualized, deficits, surplus, etc.
  • Coordination with Sales and Collections and Billings to facilitate claims to Principals
  • Provides necessary input for an accurate demand forecast (ie: principal and Sales Team inputs)
  • Identifies agreed inventory levels with principals


  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or related field; MBA preferred
  • Must have experience in managing a business unit specifically in Distribution (FMCG)
  • Preferably experienced in Category Management or Trade Marketing; experience in Principal management is an advantage
  • Must have experience in forecasting, budget management, understanding business flow, demand planning, inventory management
  • Must be able to handle more than 1 principal or client for distribution
  • Must be analytical and have experience in end-to-end distribution with at least 5 years supervisory experience with 2 years managerial experience
  • Good understanding of sales, marketing, and business management
  • Highly analytical and numbers-driven
  • Demonstrates leadership potential, good interpersonal skills, functional technical skills, and business analysis
