Job Responsibilities

  • Spearhead Business Development for the Fast Moving Consumer Goods section
  • Develop strategic account plans to create sales proposals yielding profitable account development and growth
  • Manage and maximizes volume and revenue in key assigned accounts through fact-based selling methods
  • Deliver on sales, volume, and share targets
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers by developing trust and providing outstanding service
  • Handle management of pricing and promotional activities to ensure best brand presence
  • Manage the forecasting process and work closely with the Inventory Planning and Allocation group to provide timely and accurate updates on all sales and volume-related activities to manage inventories both internally and within the accounts
  • Activates local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
  • Performs market research and analysis on business trends to develop and implement strategies to increase distribution, sales, and profits
  • Reports on sales progress and contributes to forecasting
  • Monitor and handle sales process from generating contract to contract negotiations
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts across the retail and wholesale sectors

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Economics, Engineering (Industrial), Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent
  • Must have at least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced in business development, trade marketing and category based selling
  • Strong understanding of the key account management process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills an ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Must have strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated with strong commercial acumen
  • High level of customer orientation and presentation skills
