Job Description and Qualification:

The Content Manager is a mid-senior level position which works closely with management and the team in creating and delivering valuable and relevant content to existing and potential partners and beneficiaries (“stakeholders”) to drive traffic, engagement, collaboration, retention, and potential profitable action. Key responsibilities of the Content Manager include: 1) Marketing, 2) Public Relations & Communications, 3) Management & Supervision, and 4) other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure online and offline content is consistent with tone, persona, and overall brand
  • Map out short-term and long-term content strategy which includes the content calendar and effective marketing initiatives that will translate into stakeholder action
  • Handle the following: social media, website, electronic direct mail, physical collaterals and merchandise, presentations, and other relevant media to communicate and engage company with stakeholders

Public Relations & Communications
  • Work with and liaise with PR agency in the overall PR plan and story angles in relation to the content calendar
  • Plan and execute on initiatives that help promote and keep company relevant to stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with media and relevant stakeholders
  • Effectively analyze, communicate and present project results and outputs to stakeholders in various formats (papers, presentations, etc.); Represent the company in project reporting functions as may be required

Management & Supervision
  • Coordinate with company management and team on strategy and execution of projects
  • Introduce, implement, enforce and constantly improve standard operating procedures and efficiency measures in relation to marketing and public relations
  • Supervise and guide project leads and be the arbiter of standard operating procedures and best practices in promoting their projects and other initiatives in both visuals and text copy to the target audience
  • Put in place systems for relevant project documentation; Supervise collection of data, regular maintenance and updating of project performance indicator tracking tools; Make recommendations based on results
  • Stay updated on new approaches, tools and best practices on brand, marketing and public relations

Preferred Competencies and Required Skills
  • Familiarity and interest in the innovation and entrepreneurship sector, and excited about working with tech startups, and startup ecosystem partners!
  • Completed a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines. Advanced degrees are advantages
  • Minimum 3 years work experience
  • Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics
  • Project management, planning, implementation and monitoring experience or demonstrated skills in prioritization, organization, logistical coordination, research, data analysis, and efficient resource utilization are advantages
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in both English and Filipino to a variety of audiences by expressing facts, ideas, or directions in an accurate, clear, and organized manner
  • Fluency in online marketing tools and applications (Google Analytics, HootSuite, Facebook Ads, Mailchimp) are also advantages
  • Previous leadership roles; Strong interpersonal skills; Able to cultivate good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
