Job Description and Qualification:

I. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 

The Manager for Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) Operations manages the operations of the company's Customs Bonded Warehouses, ensuring compliance to all CBW requirements as set forth by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Department of Finance (DOF), progresses all applications for accreditations and renewals related to CBW operations, represents the company in all discussions with the relevant internal teams and external parties regarding all matters related to the CBW, and making sure that all CBW-related processes and submissions are aligned with Company’s business requirements. 

1. Monitors and ensures the timely preparation and submission of all required CBW documentation, both for internal documentation and requirements for submission to the Bureau of Customs, in relation to all CBW-related processes such as but not limited to import, export, liquidation, bonds cancellation, accreditation and renewal. 
2. Continuously reviews, improves and/or sets up additional processes needed for smooth and continuous operations of the CBW, to match business requirements. 
3. Tracks relevant Customs legislation, regulations, policies and procedures, including all relevant issuances (e.g. Customs Administrative Orders (CAO), Customs Memorandum Circulars (CMO), etc.) that affect the operations of the CBW, as well as monitor trends in related advocacies and issues, and brings forth their implications for the company’s action. 
4. Represents the company in all CBW-related discussions and identified formal correspondence with internal and external parties, ensuring that all concerns are properly raised and resolved with the relevant parties and that information presented and relayed is accurate, up-to-date, and in line with company's objectives. 
5. Prepares and monitors budgets and disbursements needed for the CBW operations. 

Successful applicant regularly coordinates and works with various internal teams within the Company. He/she also interacts with external parties such as brokers, consultants, government agencies, industry groups and associations, and other external parties. He/she is expected to exercise prudence in the handling and provision of sensitive and confidential information. He/she is also expected to develop an adequate understanding of plant operations, products and raw materials, administrative processes and business directions.

SPECIFICATIONS 

• College degree (law background a plus factor). 
• Minimum 10 years experience, with managerial roles in CBW Operations, Import/Export Operations and/or Trading background. 
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and leadership skills 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Outstanding collaboration skills, and ability to maintain good working relationships with relevant stakeholders 
• Highly resourceful and able to work with different teams 
• Computer literate 
• Willing to travel or be stationed at Plant site, as may be needed from time to time

Salary:

PHP 1M – 1.9M
