Job Description and Qualification:

The Position

The Department Head is responsible for supervising and managing the Retail Sales team and building Assets Under Management for UITFs and Personal IMA.

We are looking for a Department Head who will bring fresh ideas to the continuous improvement of our processes, and the passion when it comes to the execution of projects and tasks. We also need our Department Head to be versatile and enthusiastic when it comes to dealing with challenges.

  • Creates programs to market the banks' Trust products, primarily UITFs and Retirement Funds
  • Develops marketing materials that promote the bank's UITFs and Retirement Funds
  • Oversees the Investment Specialist and provides guidance in building the Assets Under Management (AUM) for UITFs and Personal IMA
  • Establishes rapport and cultivates relationships with personnel and Clients of SBC Trust' partners, with the objective of increasing UITFs, Institutional and Personal IMA and Trust business
  • Conducts training programs in order to upgrade the Branch Banking personnel's knowledge of UITFs.


  • At least 5 years work experience in the industry (finance, investment sales)
  • Certified/qualified UITF Marketing Personnel/CIS (Certified Investment Solicitor)
  • 1- Year Course on Trust Operations and Investment Management
  • Knowledgeable on investments
  • Experienced in handling big ticket institutional accounts
