Job Description and Qualification:

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and interprets HR metrics to determine trends that can be used in the design of employee relations strategies, policies and programs
  • Determines short-term, medium-term and long-term strategies to promote and improve organizational practices that affect employee relations
  • Designs, recommends and oversees the implementation of policies, programs and activities including learning interventions to support employee relations strategies, programs and activities
  • Provides support to other HR Managers and HR Business Partners as well as other offices and employee segments to ensure the appropriate management of labor-management relationships, grievances, poor performance and disciplinary actions
  • Maintains linkages with government and non-government institutions for monitoring of changing regulation, legislation and trends that may affect employee relations
  • Oversees unit deliverables and ensures that commitments and targets are realized in accordance with the approved plan, budget and timeline; manages workflow and constantly identifies areas of opportunity for process improvement

Key Requirements and Qualifications

  • Graduate of Human Resource, Psychology, Social Science or related course; relevant higher degree an advantage
  • Holder of Employee Relations or equivalent Course Certificate
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the field of Human Resource
  • Competent in using IT software and programs needed for business
  • Above average knowledge on employee relations best practices, regulations and legislation
  • Demonstrable experience in advising stakeholders on a wide range of employee relations issues
  • Ability to manage multiple and complex employee relations issues from a strategic perspective
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver multiple concurrent commitments within standards
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders
