Job Description and Qualification:

Main Objective of the Job:

·         Promote assigned brands, implement sales and marketing activities

·         Ensure customer service satisfaction within assigned territory in accordance with the company’s Mission, Vision, Values and Policies with the objective of achieving defined annual sales objectives

Duties and Responsibilities:

Territory Management

  • Plans, tags and implements territory sales activities in line with the Company’s strategies and objectives
  • Develops the territory master list (TML) that covers the appropriate target specialties and customers to generate a sustainable prescription base and on a constant basis, reviews and updates the established TML to capture opportunities  that will enhance MD reach and increase prescription and product usage  i.e. inclusion of new hospitals, new consultants in TML
  • Plans and implements territory call plan to achieve quality call objectives
  • Complies with existing sales operating guidelines (SOG) and other admin requirements to ensure effective and efficient territory management
  • Implements within agreed timelines marketing programs to reinforce sales and promotional activities to achieve sales objective.
  • Promotes with a high degree of confidence and accuracy the indications, characteristics, benefits and unique selling proposition of the products within his portfolio to HCPs and external stakeholders
  • Timely proposes to his District Manager and Sales Manager “bid-to-win” prices in tenders
  • Works on timely evaluation of products in his portfolio for inclusion in hospital formulary

Customer Development

  • Establishes and maintains good business relationship with drivers of sales such as MDs, purchasing, pharmacy personnel, therapeutic/formulary members
  • Prepares and maintains a record of essential information of his/her territory such as comprehensive MD profile, hospital census, sales data and history
  • Identifies and profiles MDs and external stakeholders who will support the Company in its objective of accelerating and improving its reach to patients who are chronically and critically ill

Market Intelligence

  • Maintains mastery of the indications, benefits, characteristics and other details pertaining to the products within his portfolio
  • Sustains vigilance among competitors in the territory to efficiently monitor and benchmark competing companies and their activities and reports to his District Manager, National Sales Manager, Marketing and Commercial Excellence any competitive information, market insights, and HCPs feedback
  • Monitors the upcoming entry of competitors in the market; secure business and maintain loyal dispensing and prescribing MDs and customers to protect and secure achievement of business target


Resource Utilization

·         Proper planning and utilization of tactical funds to the right customers and ensures efficient and effective utilization of resources

·         Proper utilization of tools of trade (cell phone, IPaD, vehicle, promats, wireless internet device, samples, and all other company resources)

Corporate Governance

  • Comply with the Company’s standards and regulations and practice highest ethical standards when dealing with internal and external parties
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition
  • Must have at least 1 year related experience as a Nutritionist
  • Work experience in the Medical Devices field will be an advantage
  • Computer Literate
  • Must know how to drive and in possession of a valid driver’s license
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have business acumen and excellent sales aptitude
  • Has basic planning skills
