Job Description and Qualification:

Overall lead for channel health and development within the assigned territory.   Responsible for the development, implementation and review of territory programs for both the short and long term ensuring growth of the company portfolio in terms of distribution, market dominance, expansion, consumer preference, profitability and overall execution. Manage the framework of the relationship between company and the trade within the assigned territory by developing and implementing strategic business building programs to enhance equity, consumer loyalty, company image, trade partnership, accelerate trade development and growth of long term sustainability and profitability. Coordinate with Field Sales in the assigned territory.
  • Conceptualize channel specific promotions that will meet brand and sales objectives. Analyze and evaluate complex marketing and sales situations, and recommends and implements effective solutions.
  • Develop new product launch support programs that will drive awareness and trial in all identified distribution points. Plan out pipeline volumes, distribution, merchandising, and pricing standards in close coordination with Sales and Marketing.
  • Manage promotional agencies and ensure effective operations within agreed budgets, objectives and timeframes
  • Qualifies proposals for sales-initiated promotions and recommend changes consistent with brand strategies and budget
  • Manage budget to ensure that trade investments deliver short, medium and/or long term goals.
  •  Develop tools that will enable sales team to effectively and efficiently negotiate and implement consumer and trade activities
  • Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion. Perform regular field & customer visits in order to understand market trends, channel dynamics, competitor practices, customer & consumer behaviour and evaluate field force execution. Prepare summary reports after those visits highlighting opportunities related to company execution and competitor activities
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics or other related courses
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales and marketing from FMCG industry
