Job Description

  • Reporting to Finance Team Lead
  • Prepare month end close reviews, trending reports, volume analysis, normalization analysis
  • Prepare monthly capital cashflow projections
  • Responsible for preparing detail analysis of capital acquisitions, volume reports, contribution margins, physician manpower results, and net revenue analysis
  • Responsible for preparing managed care and other decision support analyses and related information
  • Work as part of team with business development and department/service line directors on formulation of assumptions and market analysis
  • Track labor and expense performance of company entities
  • Monitor and analyze performance of company entities and assist in the analysis and preparation of capital acquisitions, volume reports, contribution margins, physician manpower results, net revenue analysis
  • Other ad hoc reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years in the Finance, Accounting or Audit field
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Progressive financial health care or equivalent experience in the areas of general accounting, financial systems, financial statement preparation, operational review and analysis, operating and capital budget development; S2K general ledger experience
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both in writing and verbally, with physicians, management, vendors, consultants and other clients
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical problem-solving aptitude with creative solutions
  • Ability to efficiently organize large amounts of information, manage multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines with attention to detail in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
  • Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
  • Capacity to review, identify and implement improvement opportunities where new processes, technologies or efficiencies can be applied
  • Comprehensive conceptual problem solving and analytical skills utilizing complex spreadsheets, comparison tools and other evaluation systems as needed
  • Strong investigational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
