Job Description and Qualification:

Job Purpose:
  • Responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team
  • Develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial reporting and analysis
  • Ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Drive the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, PDIC, BSP etc.) based on local statutory reporting requirements
  • Keeps abreast of changes in accounting and local regulations and render timely advise and impact analysis
  • Lead and direct a team of professionals and manage complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas
  • Communicate with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators
  • Provide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm or business unit strategy

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Local regulatory reporting experience or background is desirable
  • Knowledge or background in Oracle is an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of the organization
  • Ability to manage workstreams in parallel and multitask
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
