Job Description and Qualification:

1.    This position is accountable for the management of the global control tower services for a global key account client. The role will support country business units to provide accurate end-to-end logistics processes and interact as a link between Carriers, Intermodal, and Business Unit for Freight release processes.

  Excellent business understanding/business administration competence

  Experience/knowledge of the 4PL concept, freight forwarding and logistics

  Good understanding of the SSC concept and related processes, including customer interface management, service management, and SLA

  Experience in working for a global organization

Educational background / Work experience

1.     University degree in business studies or any related studies

2.     Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a 4PL team (good working knowledge of the 4PL concept; supply chain/logistics/freight background) – advantage

3.     Solid work experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry – required

4.     Experience in managing a unit/department, preferably SSC environment – required

5.     Excellent stakeholder management (global and multiple stakeholders) – required
