Job Description and Qualification:

Position Summary/Objectives of Incumbent:

Leading a small team, the incumbent is Head of HR for the market unit and shared resource center in the Philippines.   He/She is responsible as the HR Business partner to the management team based in the Philippines and shall provide HR strategic direction and operational support to build a talented and engaged workforce in the Philippines. 

Major activities to be performed:

·         Act as Site Leader for the Philippines Market Unit and Asia ROC from communication and alignment standpoint

·         Act as the point Manager for the HR team based in the Philippines including COEs that report directly to managers based out of the Philippines

·         Direct and lead the HR team based in the Philippines to deliver high quality HR services that add value to the business

·         Partner with the Country Manager for Market Unit, Management Team of Asia ROC and General Manager for Global ROC and provide strategic HR advice and support to drive business

·         Provide strategic counsel and coaching to senior managers on all people matters

·         Develop and implement HR initiatives to build a high performing organization and in line with organisational objectives

·         Work with management and partner with talent acquisition, learning and development, total rewards to ensure that the right people are recruited, employees are developed and rewarded appropriately

·         Oversee and implement programs that promote the company’s values and culture

·         Manage the organisation’s annual performance appraisal process and co-ordinate activities related to the appraisals including career development and training plans with the managers.

·         Support the implementation of programs that may be driven by global or regional office and ensure alignment in all people related policies in the Philippines

Specialist Knowledge:

  • Good HR strategic planning and operational management experience, preferably across some countries in Asia
  • Good understanding of the complexities of people management practices across Asia region
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and persuasive skills that can influence senior management

Practical Experience:

15 years of HR Management experience, preferably gained from large multinational corporations, out of which one should have 8+ years of experience performing in a senior HR leadership role

  • Good relationship building and management skills
