The Human Resources Director – Manila will be the primary People advisor in the Manila Center (MC) partnering with Center leadership to build the culture for the Center, a compelling employee value proposition and a strong employer brand in the Manila market aligned with the overall Center's strategy and vision and vision and values of the Firm.

The HR Director will oversee the Manila Center People function and operations including Recruitment and Mobility, Careers & Performance, Leadership & Learning and Systems and Reporting; and to translate and operationalize the Firm's People goals and strategies, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

· Provide expertise, advice, counsel, coaching to the Executive Director and Center leadership on People goals and strategies making them relevant to the location and aligning them with global strategy

· Participate in building the Manila Center business strategy and aligning it with the Firm's People strategy and overall Centers' strategy to achieve optimal synergy for business and organizational success

· Lead the development of a culture that enables employees to perform optimally and achieve business and professional objectives

· Lead the development and implementation of local values aligned to the Firm's culture

· Lead core HR processes for Manila Center including Learning, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations and Recruiting

· Create relevant and agile People policies, consistent with overall Centers' strategy, that guide people on appropriate conduct and behavior that results in a collaborative, diverse, inclusive, high performing, and rewarding work environment

· Build the leadership capabilities in Manila Center and develop a strong pipeline for strategic leadership continuity

· Anticipate and identify current and future people-related issues and gaps between the business needs and people systems/capabilities and partner with Manila Center leadership to develop strategies to address them

· Participate in and influence community/government relations to promote the Manila Center brand to positively impact talent attraction and business results

· Mentor and coach People managers and teams to ensure they align with people strategies and comply with local employment laws

· Manage sensitive employee relations issues in accordance with the Firm's internal policies and procedures

· Engineer employee engagement programs from a holistic and strategic perspective ensuring that the initiatives are effective and sustainable

· Optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency of the People End-to-End Services function within Manila Center (including Careers & Performance, Recruiting & Mobility, Leadership & Learning, HRIS support and HR reporting), ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards as well as overall Centers' strategy

· Manage operations and related financial budgeting for the Manila Center People function based on requirements and trends, developing action plans, measuring results, and analyzing outcomes

· Partner with Professional & Business Services People Leads and Regional People Leads to ensure implementation of aligned key People initiatives, sharing best practices, proactive identification of emerging business issues, and collaboration on the development of solutions

· Lead the Manila Center People function on crisis management situations and provide direction towards recovery; ensure business continuity planning

· Drive quality, efficiencies and performance based on expectations agreed upon with Global Process Owners for global processes

Experience Required

· Bachelor’s degree focusing on Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, Management, or other related areas (MS/MA in HR or related discipline is preferred)

· Extensive HR management experience; experience in HR Transformation and/or HR Shared Services in a professional services organization is preferred

· Broad knowledge of HR practices including talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, leadership development, coaching, employee relations, change management, organization effectiveness and HR operations

· Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders regarding HR strategies and issues and translate management decisions and strategies to the employees

· Expertise in operational efficiency and financial planning. Strong in Project management and systemic thinking

· Demonstrated skills in assessing market and organization trends and developing HR solutions

· Strong coaching, counselling, and overall communication skills, and highly credible presentation skills

· Sound judgment - ability to assess risk and take appropriate actions

· Ability to network and collaborate across the Firm

· Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate in unstructured environments
