Job Description and Qualification:

Job Title: HR Manager
Reports to: Terminal Manager
Supervises: HR Supervisor, HR Assistant, Admin Assistant, and Company Nurse
  • Responsible for overseeing the entire human resource and administration department in terms of planning, leading and implementing human resources policies, programs and practices
  • Establish HR policies related but not limited to recruitment and training, benefits and compensation.
  • Prepares Annual HR/Admin. Budget.
  • Recommends periodic salary review.
  • Ensure that employee benefits programs are properly implemented and employees are properly informed.
  • Conducts periodic salary survey to ensure that salaries are both internally and externally competitive.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE/gov’t regulations e.g. SSS, Philhealth, HDMF and the general labor standards.
  • Ensures that established training calendar for the year are followed.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, trainings and seminars, establishing personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
  • Ensures proper implementation of the Company Code of conduct and other related HR policies.
  • Develop HR programs that will boost the morale of employees
  • Ensures that performance appraisal of employees are properly implemented based on schedule
  • Establish and develop rapport with the union and ensures that union issues are properly addressed.
  • Ensures that all provisions of the CBA are properly followed and adhered to by both the management and the union.
  • Prepare management committee reports weekly.
  • Performs other duties as maybe required by management from time to time.

Educational Qualification

  • Preferably a graduate of Psychology or behavioral Science Course and any other related courses

Work Experience

  • With work experience of at least five (5) years in similar position or field

  • Effective English communication both oral and written
  • Computer literate/able to use standard software programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet)
