Job Description and Qualification:

The Accounting and Controllership Head will be responsible for overseeing the General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions, and the financial services area including Credit, A/R and A/P.

He/she will lead all aspects of accounting operations, managing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting

He/she will develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting and ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

The AC Head will evaluate company’s financial results with regard to profits, trends, expenses and compliance with budgets and issue regular status, significant findings and ad hoc reports to the Board or Top Management. Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

He/she will audit current working systems and suggest improvements as well as formulate new accounting and control policies to improve systems.


What we are looking for:

Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferably with MBA

With minimum 10 years accounting management experience in an Investment banking, commercial banking, preferably with large treasury experience preferably in an international level

Experience in working with auditors / public accountants and regulators, and BIR

Deep knowledge of taxation and of filing and reporting related conventions

Control oriented

Experience managing an accounting team, setting budgets, analyzing financial statements

Good network

Typically, unpopular (not a push over)
