Job Description and Qualification:
Job Purpose:
• To manage end to end supply chain activities including material tender exercise, procurement support, logistics support, warehouse management & related supply chain support with the aim to meet internal customer needs whilst maximising business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develops and manages the business relationship with suppliers.
• Negotiates with suppliers to achieve least cost, best value solutions for organization.
• Conveys local and global supplier expectations, establishes supplier performance criteria, and conducts formal supplier reviews.
• Stay current with market trends to benchmark pricing and products (e.g. commodity pricing, finished goods pricing, supplier KPIs etc).
• Manage the logistics & on time delivery of material to ensure projects are delivered smoothly.
• Manage the inventory in the warehouse with the project team to ensure sufficient level of material is available for project to run smoothly.
• Assists in developing business cases for initiatives.
• Facilitates quality of supplier data systems/files.
• Keep track of Supply Chain product category spent by month.
• Complete Supply Chain accurate reporting requirements inline with monthly financial month end close.
• Continuously analyse current process and provide alternate streamlined approaches.
• Demand planning projection and analysis.
• Overseeing Supply Chain Systems and coordinate with the systems vendor for any customisation or upgrading requirements.
• Identify areas to improve business efficiencies and costs reduction
• Work closely with the management team to deliver reports, analyse findings, identifying potential risk areas and opportunities.
Qualification, Skills and Knowledge:
• Bachelor's Degree in any related field (Civil engineering, Electrical engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years working experience within Supply Chain function with 3 years in a supervisory role preferably from Construction/ telco environment.
• Well verse with local import duties & taxes and customs process relating to material importation.
• Possess following qualities; Integrity, analytical thinking, dependability (timeliness), attention to details, focused, collaborative, team player, persistence.
• Strong sense of ownership and strong drive for results
• Business Oriented and possesses the ability to proactively engage with business to find practical solutions and partner with them to implement desired actions
• Excellent attention to details and focused
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Telco industry is an advantage but not mandatory
• Transition experience and/or ERP implementation experience;
• Experience of working in a / within a multicultural, international environment;
