Job Description and Qualification:
· Leads IT strategy development.
· Identifies and recommends business solutions needed to improve operations and increase revenue generation
· Leads, manages and monitors project implementation.
· Leads the applications technical design for products/platforms offered by the company
· Defines IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
· Oversees, coordinates, plans, and leads, IT-related activities/projects in the company
· Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions or system architecture for IT needs
· Audits performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
· Handle department budget and ensure cost effectiveness
· Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
· Design, document, implement and coordinate IT systems, policies and procedures
· Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
· Help assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
· Troubleshoot complex/escalated hardware and software issues related to internal IT
· Assists in the recruitment/ training of IT personnel
· Provides Bi-Weekly/Monthly updates and reports regarding IT developments and other reports needed by Management
· Accomplishes the probationary and regular evaluation of all IT employees and submits it to the HR
· Coaches and manages the productivity and performance of the IT department
· Communicates all Management directives and department goals to team members
· Keep up with developments in area of expertise by reading and learning about new skills and trends
· Performs related tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time
· Produce quality outputs and satisfy service level agreements with internal and external customers
· Lives out the Vision, Mission and Values of the organization
· Adhere to the company rules/regulations, policies, code of conduct/employee handbook, standard operating procedures, work instructions and protocols on service quality, safety, security, business continuity, etc.
· Ensures that IT department complies to the company rules/regulations, policies, code of conduct/employee handbook, standard operating procedures, work instructions and protocols on service quality, safety, security, business continuity, etc
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
· Reports to: Business Unit Head
· Handles: Whole IT Department
· Closely coordinates with: All department heads, major clients
· Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Sciences or related
· At least 10 years of work experience in the IT field with knowledge in Network and Systems, Systems Analysis, and Programming
· At least 5 years of people management experience
· With at least 5 years of project management experience
· Experience with using Agile methodologies
· Experience with consumer facing UI/UX development and facing external clients
· Must have experience collaborating with Sales and Operations team
· Knowledgeable in Google Workspace and Mac programs
· Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
· Knowledge in PNL Creation, Cost Control, or Forecasting is an advantage
· Experience in E-commerce system, specifically Shopify or OpenCart is an advantage
