Job Description and Qualification:

Job Description

The Project Manager will be a key contributor for the Company’s Global Automation and Center for Excellence function with the primary responsibility of managing medium to large projects. The role will lead project teams for internal and external initiatives at a local to global scale. The PM will interface, develop and manage strong working relationships with business units, external parties and regional/global partners in the completion of project milestones and successful achievement of objectives.

 


Key Accountabilities:

·         Develop business cases for projects which have been agreed as part of automation roadmap or other projects as assigned

·         Manage automation projects in line with prescribed project management standards with a defined scope, ensuring project deliverables are brought in on time, within budget and quality targets

·         Responsible for motivating and leading project team members

·         Provide input into the management of project budgets

·         Prepare management reports for key stakeholders

·         Liaison between project team, project owner, and key stakeholders

·         Identify when projects appear to be deviating from plan or objectives and raise issues and proposed solutions with management; taking appropriate corrective action to ensure delivery remains on track

·         Manage conflicting priorities involved with completing a project successfully.

·         Minimize exposure and risks by identifying and proactively managing all risks and issues affecting the project, including financial and operational

·         Mentor team members

·         Support the execution and delivery of an Agile project management methodology and standards for Global Automation CoE

Minimum Skills Requirement to Hire:

The candidate:

·         Solid knowledge of basic project management methodologies. Degree or equivalent experience in project management

·         2 years business analysis, project management or business unit experience.  Previous experience in a project team environment with project leading responsibilities is a plus

·         Requires a solid understanding and ability to apply

·         Process and systems concepts:

·         Documentation standards

·         Business Process Management

·         PMO

·         Operations

·         Recognized qualification in Project Management is an advantage

·         LOMA is an advantage

·         Tools/Technical/Process Specific Knowledge or Skills:

Experience in any of the following technical tools:


·         Windows or MAC Operating System Environment.

·         Microsoft Office Suite of Applications

·         Project Management Software

·         Development or Scripting Software

·         BPMN or Workflow Modeling Applications

·         Project Management Applications such as Microsoft Project and Sharepoint

·         Jira / Agile experience

·         Able to function as an organizational change agent and see beyond current situations towards enterprise-wide higher level process and systems improvements

·         Demonstrated project management & planning skills; balances strategic skills with tactical execution skills

·         Ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with change
