Job Description and Qualification:

  • ·         Prepare Letters of Credit and file the same to the bank using standard lead time requirements.
  • ·         Process payments such as broker’s billings, charges with bank, advances by broker, local insurance etc.
  • ·         Coordination with various project proponents, banks, custom brokers, etc.
  • ·         Prepares inputs on the weekly Import Logistics status report for shipments and updates accordingly.
  • ·         Responsible for processing of incoming shipping documents (order for brokerage, local insurance).
  • ·         Maintaining and insuring completeness of Import files.
  • ·         Maintain and update records
  • ·         Checks computation of final taxes/duties on all shipments.
  • ·         File pertinent documents.
  • ·         Provide general clerical support if needed.
  • ·         Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
