Job Summary:

A successful candidate in this role will demonstrate strong proficiency in data analytics and data administration. The Information Risk Management Analyst role will primarily focus on analyzing and manipulating large datasets to generate and disseminate Excel based scheduled reports sourced from databases to multiple System Teams. The candidate will demonstrate intermediate to expert level knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI) and database administration is preferred. Conceptual understanding of IT vulnerability management and experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys) would be an asset but not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities
  • Generate weekly vulnerability reports sourced from vulnerability scanning tools and system inventories.
  • Execute documented process workflows to deliver ISM, BCP, TRM and general IRM services.
  • Maintain content within Information Risk Management systems.
  • Update IRM documentation as required.
  • Conduct information requests, assessments and system/log monitoring activities.
  • Work with all levels of the organization to perform assigned duties.
  • Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives across all IRM COE’s.
  • Work closely with and take direction from COE Leads in-addition to IRM Team Lead.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while providing regular progress updates to COE Leads.
  • Communicate via email, chat and telephone with globally dispersed coworkers and clients.
  • Deliver on ad-hoc reports/requests.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong focus and attention to detail in both normal and high-pressured situations.
  • Effective administrative and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and collaboration tools (e.g., Yammer and Skype).
  • Experience in Power BI and database management.
  • Working knowledge of IRM principles in one or more COE areas is nice to have (Information Security Management, Technology Risk Management & Business Continuity Management).
  • Knowledge of and experience with IT principles, operations and processes are important.
  • Exposure to financial services or similar complex large corporate environments 
  • Hands-on experience as an IT Systems, Security or Risk Analyst is an asset.
  • Familiarity in any vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys) is nice to have.
