Job Description and Qualification:

  • Manage a project delivery team
  • Manage a project involving Japanese Stakeholders
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and manage changes
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • At least 5 years of working experience in project management
  • With Japanese Language Skill Level of N1 or N2
  • Directly managed a team of 5 to 40 people
  • With experience in working with international clients
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior analytical/problem solving skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Technical Requirements:
    • application development with java/jvm based languages
    • scripting language like Perl/Python/java or bash
    • advanced Linux server experience
  • Experience in management of low-latency projects/support is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
