Job Description

  • Maintain stable supply of Purchasing materials that will be assigned by coordinating with suppliers and concerned departments on delivery schedules as well as timely generation of POs following lead time
  • Obtains and purchases all goods and services at the lowest possible total cost, considering the guidelines on prices, service, quality, delivery and reliability
  • Communicates directly with the vendor all correspondence concerning purchases, including price adjustments, return of defective or incorrect materials, additional shipments to fill shortages and purchase order cancellation
  • Conducts follow-up of purchase orders to ensure that the vendor fulfills the purchase agreement on delivery and that the carrier delivers the shipment promptly and in good condition
  • Prepare and process export documents for assigned accounts in SAP according to customer requirements and IMO regulations
  • Secure vessel space and equipment availability with shipping lines and isotank providers
  • Coordinate shipment schedule with service providers, manufacturing plant, and external customers
  • Communicate with customers and related departments on status of orders, customer complaints, queries, and other requests
  • Collate all shipping documents from various group and external providers and dispatch it to customers
  • Keep files of all export documents and monitoring sheet of shipments

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate head


  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Customs Administration, or any related program
  • Must have at least 2 years of working experience in related field
  • Knowledgeable in supply chain fundamentals: export, import procedures and documentation
  • Good communication skills
