Overall Job Role

  • Leader in driving growth and profitability for category/brand
  • Responsible for strategy, business insights, marketing calendar and product launches
  • Key functions are Product Management and Development
  • Coordinate and work closely with cross-functional matrix teams (Sales, R&D, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain) to ensure timely execution of plans, do review and monitoring (pre-launch/post-launch) and identify issues, opportunities and solutions to support short and long-term growth strategies
  • Main KPIs are Sales, Margin, % Contribution/Achievement of Launches and Promotions, Market Share

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supports Brand Vision and develops clear strategy for sustainable profitable growth
  • Analyzes applies insights to support strategy development
  • Does regular competitive monitoring and market update to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Forecasts and manages Brand Ad and Promo budget to achieve P&L targets
  • Marketing Calendar (360 Launch Planning, Consumer & Trade Promotions) integrate calendar with Sales and Demand Creation
  • Pricing Strategy (Positioning, Margins, Price Increases)
  • Forecasting and Inventory Management (minimize excess, shortage, re-flow/re-use excess)
  • Product Line Management (Addition or Discontinuance of SKUs)
  • Product Registration
  • Monthly report on Product metrics and results
  • Identify product innovation opportunities for development
  • Leverages market and consumer insights / needs to create product ideation and concepts (new products, line extensions, re-branding packaging etc.) leading to detailed Product Brief including cost objective, formula, packaging, pricing)
  • Project Management
  • Leads New Product Development working closely with matric group of R&D, Technical Center, Creatives
  • Lead process to execute from concept to launch


  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Food Technology, Chemistry or any related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience within the Food Service industry, working both B2B and B2C, handling Sales and Marketing, and Brand Management
  • Technical education and interest in cooking and/or baking is ideal but not required
