Job Description and Qualification:

Solution Planning and Design

  • Architects an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer's requirements
  • Optimizes a solution's fit to the requirements of an opportunity plus the broader customer IT strategy
  • Balances and incorporates the inputs of specialists in the solution design
  • Adapts solution design to new requirements
  • Anticipates and plans for competitive threats
  • Establishes the validity of a solution and its components with both short and long term implications
  • Identifies the growth path , scalability options and implications for customer IT strategy and/or related LOB implications of a solution and includes these in design activities and account planning

  • Builds strong professional relationship with key IT and LOB executives across the Region

  • The person would be responsible for evolving the response to the global client ITO requirements that include understanding the requirement by interacting with internal clients, RFPs, creating the design, evolving the BOM, carry out the costing, get it reviewed by the delivery hub, continuously improving on the design to meet the client requirement that make the winning design.
  • Work with Bid Manager, Solution Integrator & Line Manager to ensure processes are applied.
  • The solution designer is responsible for working with the solution leader and tower leader to develop specific portions of the solution.
  • Develops specific aspects of the technical solution and associated cost models to meet client requirements within the price-to-win framework
  • Works with Solution Lead to engage with other solution design resources as needed, to complete required technical deliverables
  • Coordinates with other geographies for the respective element of the technical solution
  • Writes relevant sections of the proposal, as identified by the solution lead and tower lead
  • Participates in due diligence and contract negotiations as required
  • Supports Solution Lead, Tower Leads, and Delivery Lead at assurance reviews
  • Responds to and supports the Bid Manager in executing the bid process
  • Ensures solution components/ cost / pricing model align with standards and best practices
  • Schedules and obtains peer review approvals as required
  • Provides client-facing interface as required and at request of sales team
  • Engages Alliance partners as needed
  • Schedules and obtains peer review approvals as required
  • Supports Team member to come up with best solution and costing
  • Multiple Tower Management and helping the team member in solution and costing
  • Make sure that all tower operations is smooth
  • Focus towards business development for the region

Eligibility Criteria WKPS

  • Overall experience in IT should be 10 + years
  • 4-6 years of experience in IT Presales/ IT Technical selling / Consultative selling/ solution/account management
  • Should understand and have knowledge on the solutioning of 2 or more of the following workplace offerings including Service Desk, on-Site support, application packaging and Software distribution, AD management, workplace server management, Messaging and collaboration, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Mobile Device Management
  • Should have presales experience and solution designing experience specific to workplace of at least 2-5 years
  • Should have hardware configuration knowledge of desktops, laptops and related workplace servers
  • Should have knowledge on tools and technologies related to workplace offerings
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge and experience with workplace tower related transition and transformation

Education requirements

  • BE or B.Tech in ECE, computer science. Alternatively other graduations can be considered if the candidate Posses good exposure on the line
