Our client is the first and only integrated grains and feeds terminal and handling facility in the Visayas and Mindanao. The company was established on January 2016. Currently, they have 3 warehouses that are operating in Cebu. Other business units are in Cagayan De Oro City, General Santos City, and Canlubang, Laguna. Their main business is providing Cargo Handling Services in Cebu, Cagayan De Oro, General Santos, Bulacan and Laguna.

The company provides a viable long term solution to the requirements of the feeds and grains industries for total logistic services covering grains and raw materials handling, delivery and related services with the mission to develop a partnership founded on trust and respect. Job Description and Qualification:


Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree of any course - having a Master's Degree will be an advantage
  • At least 10 years Managerial Role experience
  • Extensive experience in transport, clearing and forwarding operations is an advantage but not required
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing
  • Experience in Warehousing and Logistics is an advantage
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Decisive/ Firm
  • Good interpersonal relations
  • Must be willing to work in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Responsibilities:
  • Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace
  • Get involved in long-term business planning at the managerial and executive level
  • Perform a meaningful role in long-term planning and establishment initiatives aimed at operational distinction
  • Identifies improvement areas and plans and implements systems to boost company effectiveness and reduce costs
  • Improve the business processes for each department through analysis and collaboration
  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
  • Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes and enhanced management reporting
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progress
  • Organize and intensify efficiency support services by ameliorating functions and coordinating communication between businesses and support functions
  • Collaborate with department management to develop financial plans
  • Act as a responsible individual for the approval of significant corporate expense checks
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Manage relationships/ agreements with external partners/ vendors
  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Liaise with government agencies and local government for compliance
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets and performance to promote profitability
  • Revise and/ or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Acts in accordance with company ethics
