Job Description and Qualification:

Job dimensions

  • Management:  Lead a group with 8-10 direct reports, Managers and Team Leads with an assigned organization of 120 team members
  • Geographical Scope :  Affiliates covering multiple Branches and Regions such as MS and E&P in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa
  • Functional Scope: Overall Leadership and Direction to achieve performance objectives for assigned functional areas of Invoice Control, Travel and Expense Processing, Vendor Master Data Management, Bank Transfers and Payments, Vendor Reconciliation and other Finance Reporting Activities
Activities

  • Defining the department strategy and leading the implementation of objectives including a common set of standard business processes, technology enhancements, and delivery of value based accounting services to affiliates
  • Defining and leading the implementation of operations and productivity according to the quality and customer-service standards;
  • Contributing operations information and recommendations to strategic business plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans;
  • Managing relationships with affiliate process owners, finance management, and the other regional service delivery leads to identify and deliver ongoing improvements in service performance
Context and environment
  • Dynamic and fast paced environment, the company has multiple process improvement initiatives and work transition on going at the same time.
  • Constant interface and communication with a wide set of internal and external stakeholders both local and global, including CFO, FD, MD and managers and outside consultants.
  • Frequent collaboration and consensus building with all stakeholders to ensure that projects are implemented successfully

Accountability

  • Accountable for setting and accomplishing operational objectives of the department including budget.
  • Ensures SSC SLA, KPI and Service Quality commitments to affiliates are met
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory expectations are met within the service delivery scope
  • .
  • Responsible for talent development, workforce planning, succession plans and attrition management
Qualifications/Experience require
  • Relevant Finance and Accounting undergraduate degree, post graduate studies a plus, CPA an advantage

  • Skills: Technically Proficient in SAP and MS Office Applications; Highly adept in the Finance and Accounting Processes, Practices and Principles
