Job Description and Qualification:


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Psychology or equivalent.
  • Preferably in an agro-industrial or manufacturing setting handling a unionized group
  • Strong sense of urgency, proactive and can work independently with minimal supervision.;
  • Can coach and provide guidance to supervisors and managers on people management practices.
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Willing to work extended hours.
  • Computer literate (MS Office applications)
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Baybay, Leyte.


For Human Resource:

  • Implement and maintain organizational structure with clearly defined responsibilities and authority as guided by the Management; supervise in the review of business/functional plans together to determine manning implication in the Company;
  • Conduct manpower forecasting (short and long term) indicating timetables per department;
  • Coordinate with the different department managers or line managers; supervise in ensuring that all vacancies are covered with an approved personnel requisition form before an employee is hired;
  • Ensure the establishment of database for recruitment purposes to efficiently provide manpower requirements of different departments;
  • Review personnel requisition and endorse for the approval of the Plant Manager;
  • Conduct final interview, review documents submitted, assess employment exam results and recommend applicant/s for approval by the Resident Manager;
  • Supervise in the preparation of the training and employee development plan;
  • Review the training needs assessment (TNA) for employees;
  • Develop action plans to ensure that programs are in-line with Company objective and that targets are being met;
  • Review the prepared training design located on the approved training and development activities;
  • Supervise the Implementation of the training activities located on the approved design and budget;
  • Evaluate all the employee training and development activities and provide appropriate recommendation to the Management;
  • Regularly review and update compensation scheme, benefits and compensates;
  • Facilitate, process and render to employees the pertinent, definite and accurate compensation and benefits provided to them by the Management;
  • Establish and maintain open communication with employees to resolve work-related problems, provide disciplinary actions in conformity with the Company policies;
  • Assess, support, propose and implement enhancements and group processes to win a healthy and productive working relationship;
  • Manages and oversees administration of labor contracts and provides interpretation of labor contracts to managers, employees and other HR staff; oversees processes for review and resolution of grievances;advises managers and employees on sensitive labor relations matters, performance issues and disciplinary actions, advises and assists managers in identifying issues and determining appropriate course of action.
  • Serves as the HR lead in the CBA negotiation process, labor management council (LMC) meetings,arbitration and grievances. Maintains collaborative working relations with management and labor, and serve as facilitator in resolving labor management issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the Labor Laws and Code in order to establish quality professional relationship between the personnel and management;
  • Monitors the updating and maintenance of 201 files of all employees;
  • Ensure safety of company confidential records and documents; and,
  • Performs other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

For Admin:

  • Attends to administrative functions such as building, office and common facilities up keep. Maintenance, supervision and monitoring of service contractors’ performance.
