Job Description and Qualification:

Platform Middleware Services team is currently looking for a candidate with proven experience supporting and administering WebSphere Experience platform.
Required Technologies and skills:
  • WebSphere (8.5.5.X through 9.0.5.X)
  • Windows Server (2012 and onward)
  • Windows IIS
Required Skills:
  • Current Production level WebSphere Experience (8.5.5.X through 9.0.5.X) including troubleshooting, patching, deployment procedures
  • Current Production level Windows Server Experience (2012 and onward)
  • Current Production level Windows IIS Experience including troubleshooting and deployment procedures
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to decipher log files
  • Hands on experience of the certificate renewal process for Windows, WebSphere, and IIS
Preferred Skills:
  • IBM WebSphere MQ
  • Standalone Java Applications
  • Industry practices for DR procedures
  • Windows Access Control
  • PowerShell scripting
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5+ years of Information Technology experience

  • Candidate must demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills such as teamwork.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate; ability to lead and influence technical peers and decision makers.
  • Candidate must have good organizational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to be flexible to changing environments and to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Tools Specific Knowledge:
- Windows, Outlook, MS Teams, and basic Microsoft Office tools
- Service Now, Jira, Confluence
** This role is expected to cover off hours shift, as well as perform regular On-Call support on weekends.
