Job Description and Qualification:

Job Summary

Purpose of Policy Governance team is to provide support and management of the established process
• Own and maintain the policy framework and minimum policy requirements
• Own and maintain the operating model for policy management
• Own and administrate the repository for policies (SharePoint site database)
• Provide effective oversight of the implementation of the minimum expectations for company policies
• Coordinate documentation of the program for policy compliance assessment across policies, together with Policy Managers
• Communicate global policy standards related changes and news; stakeholder engagement
• Responsibilities require little supervision.

The role is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective service delivery while maintaining the trust of internal colleagues



Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the Policy Governance team services
• Provide effective oversight of Policy Management processes to ensure minimum policy requirements are met
• Ensure operating model for policy maintenance is followed and updated as required
• Provide support to Policy Sponsors and Managers
• Own and administrate the SharePoint repository for policies (database)
• Coordinate documentation of the program for policy compliance assessment across policies, together with Policy Managers
• Communicate global policy standards related changes and news; stakeholder engagement
• Coordinates additional support from Integrated Compliance Services and NA & Asia GLT where necessary
• Prepare and update training materials and videos for users and Policy Managers
• Prepare and updated playbooks for users and Policy Managers
• Review policies, standards and other related documents submitted to the policy database
• Supervise and monitor the work quality of team member (Analyst)


Qualifications:

• 4-6 years working experience in the Insurance, Asset Management, Banking or Financial Services
• Experience in Compliance / Legal / Audit is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Legal, Finance, Business or related fields
• Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint
• Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change with a strong awareness and understanding of cultural diversity
• Ability to work independently under pressure and make prompt decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Diligent in meeting given deadlines
• Demonstrated project management & planning skills; balances strategic skills with tactical execution skills
• Proven leadership & people/talent management capabilities.
• Proven interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships, engage and influence others, work with a diverse internal and international customer base.
• Good interpersonal skills, creative and open minded, willingness to learn and adaptive to change
• Excellent escalation handling, coaching, planning, organizing and performance management skills.
• Strong analytical & metrics management skills
• Strong communication skills - verbal, written, presentation, & negotiation; ability to adapt content to various audiences; communicates effectively at all organization levels
• Fluent in English, knowledge in other languages (reading and writing) will be a good asset; good English-language writing skills
• Amenable to work in Diliman, Quezon City.
• Amenable to work on a Morning shift schedule.
