Job Description and Qualification:

Responsibilities: 
  • Improve, implement and manage pricing processes or sub-processes:
    • New product price,
    • Annual price adjustment
    • Price maintenance
    • Assess, develop and recommend general pricing strategies, offers, and promotions across business areas within the pricing team together with global and regional stakeholders; Monitor, assess and anticipate market trends and competitive pricing moves
  • Apply advanced pricing techniques and methodologies and develop respective tools including financial impact modeling
  • Elaborate reports to identify pricing opportunities or to allow pricing business decision
  • Drive parts of international pricing projects and represent Pricing in internal projects
  • Ensure know-how transfer in pricing to relevant internal parties
  • Foster and promote excellent team work and environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Science or Economics
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a pricing analyst or revenue management analyst
  • Experience in Healthcare / Medical device /Life science / Molecular Biology industry preferred
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, additional language beneficial
  • Experience with pricing methods and tools preferred
  • Expert in pricing concepts, models, strategy and tactics (Value Based Pricing, Bundle, Tiered pricing, Price
  • Elasticity, Price Volume Mix, conjoint…).
  • Experience in project management – medium to high level of complexity
  • SAP, Salesforce.com and Pricing software experience preferred
  • Experience from international pricing projects
  • General computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office applications suite (Word, Excel,
  • PowerPoint). Advanced Excel/Access knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Perform pricing research, contract efficiency analysis, account level forecasting, contract modeling and
  • ROI, pull-through program planning, co-pay offset program development, sub-national gross-to-net sales reporting, account management incentive compensation, analytical tool development
  • Develop promotion response models using primary and secondary market research; pricing studies; unit
  • and revenue forecasts for marketing, sales, finance, and production planning
  • Develop a multiple regression based model and tool to predict the deal value of a customer transaction
  • Proven success in leading several international pricing projects
