Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for supporting the Global Privacy Office (GPO) in its oversight of the Global Privacy Risk Management Policy, specifically in the following areas:

i) Monitoring of Controls

Assist the GPO in developing and administering an approach to integrating privacy risk and control assessment activities in Archer (or other available tools, as appropriate)

Assist the GPO in monitoring compliance with the Policy through the development and administration of privacy testing plans

ii) Documentation

Analyze Global and Segment privacy documentation and processes to help identify best practices, gaps, and overlaps, with a view to creating Global-level program documentation where possible

Develop process documentation for the Segments to follow when using Archer / other tools to help drive consistent adoption

Maintain GPO SharePoint site and other team records repositories

iii) Privacy Incident Management

Conduct oversight of privacy incident records in Archer to ensure records are in good order and incidents are properly handled in accordance with global requirements

Perform periodic trending and analysis of privacy incidents globally, with a view to identifying trends and best practices that can be profiled back to the Segments to address, where appropriate

Collaborate/ work with other stakeholders as necessary in monitoring or mitigating privacy risks

iv) Reporting

Gather and consolidate privacy information for periodic reporting

Identify reporting improvements, including development of KRIs


Job Requirements:

Good interpersonal skills, creative and open minded, willingness to learn and adaptive to change

Experience in Compliance (in particular Privacy) / Legal / Audit is strong preferred

Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including MS Word, Excel, Power Point

Fluent in English, knowledge in Chinese (reading and writing) will be a good asset; good English-language writing skills

Education/Professional Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Legal, Finance, Business or related fields is preferred

Professional knowledge in Compliance, Legal, or Audit

4-6 years working experience in the Insurance, Asset Management, Banking or Financial Services
