Job Description and Qualification:

BASIC OBJECTIVE:

Provides continuous improvement actions, plans and studies for continuous process, product quality, and yield improvement in the Power Semicon assembly area.


Essential Job Functions or Core Job Responsibilities:

1. Monitors, updates and controls the process performance of the assembly line and identify opportunities for improvements.
2. Performs studies for process capabilities, variation control, process improvements and/or equipment improvements and feasibility.
3. Reviews and analyzes machine parameters versus control chart data and initiates actions for out of control and trend characteristics.
4. Utilizes data and statistical lean tools and six sigma to analyze, correct problems and implement process, equipment, productivity, and other plant metrics improvements.
5. Generates and revises procedural documents and work instructions and implementation plans.
6. Performs root cause and failure analysis and schedule action plan relevant to designed corrective and/or preventive measures.
7. Performs qualification and set-up relevant to new projects and corresponding materials, equipment or methods.
8. Performs evaluations on new methodologies, materials or equipment.
9. Ensures compliance of all concerned employees pertaining to the documented operating procedures.
10. Supports and participates on quality related activities, issues and actions creation, and implementation.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics and Communications Engineering.

2. 5 years and up Power Semicon process experience on die-attach, paste printing, heavy AL wire-bonding, Plastic Case attaches, Transfer Molding, and DTFS.

3. Well-versed on statistical tools such as SPC, QC Tools, FMEA, DOE, lean tools and software like Minitab.

4. With Project Management skills.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

6. Six Sigma Greenbelt certified
