Job Description and Qualification:

The Procurement Buyer I is responsible for sourcing and procurement of supplies, equipment, and service for all requestors and related functions located in healthcare facilities in the United States. The position is accountable for :
  • Processing purchase order
  • Confirming appropriate approval and following-up on open purchase orders and vendor discrepancies.
  • Ensures accuracy of purchase and vendor/supply data while complying with the client and healthcare-specific policies, including maintaining logging, filing, and source documents.
  • The position routinely communicates upstream and downstream with suppliers and customers, respectively, to validate the information and finalize business transactions. The position performs a follow-up and expediting of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Fundamental knowledge of supply chain practices and procedures, including concerning medical/surgical supplies, manufacturers, and distributors
  • Microsoft Office and computerized Supply Chain and Inventory Management System experience.
  • Must have knowledge in ERP System
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with close attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent process and query management skills
  • Applicants must be amenable to work on a Nightshift.
