Job Description and Qualification:

The Program Lead for Startup Development (“PLSD”) is a mid-senior level position which works closely with the management and team in implementing and developing new initiatives. Key responsibilities of the PLSD
include: 1) Relationship Management & Development, 2) Project Management & Capacity Building, 3) Team Management, and 5) other related duties.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Development
  • Maintain existing relationships with  partners and achieve partner satisfaction by ensuring effective execution of programs and initiatives based on set objectives
  • Identify, liaise and establish contact with potential partners, negotiate and agree terms of agreement, and deepen engagement with partners
  • Participate in events and activities with local and international accelerators, government, corporates, universities, foundations, and other organizations that promote the company mission and the greater Philippine startup ecosystem
Project Management & Capacity Building
  • Lead the design, development, coordination, execution and completion of startup-related programming (such as hackathons, networking sessions, demo days, pitching competitions,classes, etc.)
  • Ensure consistency with overall strategy, timely and efficient implementation with respect to commitments and goals; coordinate and ensure successful and timely delivery and full implementation of assigned projects
  • Ensure execution of marketing and communication initiatives are aligned with brand and communication objectives
  • Develop monitoring and evaluation systems that will ensure tracking of project results
  • Stay updated on new approaches, tools and best practices on incubator management and startup development
Team Management
  • Supervise and develop the team; Design and agree on both team and individual overall strategies, targets, timelines, and work plans
  • Put in place systems for relevant project documentation; Supervise collection of data, regular maintenance and updating of project performance indicator tracking tools; Make recommendations based on results
  • Assist with other tasks and provide support to project team as needed

  • Completed a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines. Advanced degrees are advantages
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • Project management, implementation and monitoring experience or demonstrated skills in prioritization, organization, logistical coordination, and efficient resource utilization are advantages
  • Exhibits attention to detail in executing projects, including preparing reports, monitoring status updates, completing project documentation and managing budgets
  • Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating group activities
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in both English and Filipino to a variety of audiences by expressing facts, ideas, or directions in an accurate, clear, and organized manner; Ability to communicate in a secondary language or Filipino dialect are advantages
  • Previous leadership roles; Strong interpersonal skills; Able to cultivate good working relationships with colleagues and partners; interface, negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
