Our client is an oleochemical manufacturing company with an office in Ayala, Makati.

Job Description

  • Prepares and processes in SAP and PRIMOS the procurement of Direct and Mechanical Indirect Materials both local and imported
  • Obtains and purchases all goods and services at the lowest possible total cost, considering the guidelines on prices, service, quality, delivery and reliability
  • Summarizes all quotations collected and checks acceptability based on the required product specification
  • Recommends final supplier for approval of management
  • Place purchase orders and coordinate orders with suppliers
  • Communicates directly with the vendor all correspondence concerning purchases, including price adjustments, return of defective or incorrect materials, additional shipments to fill shortages and purchase order cancellation
  • Conducts follow-up of purchase orders to ensure that the vendor fulfills the purchase agreement on delivery and that the carrier delivers the shipment promptly and in good condition
  • Facilitates importation of goods, secures documents for importation, assigns broker to do processing and coordinates with import group for ease of delivery
  • Communicates to end-users clarification on specification and status of purchase requests
  • Maintains records of transactions and monitoring sheet for pending trades
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate head


  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
  • 2 years of working experience
  • Reliable and trustworthy

  • Knowledge in procurement fundamentals, importation procedures, and procurement-related legislation
  • Ability to convey information clearly and simply in a way that means things are understood and get done
