Job Description and Qualification:


  • In charge of the daily activities of the purchasing function
  • Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for more complex purchase order
  • Evaluates and analyzes purchasing trend and price trend to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs


  • Receives, processes Product Development Form / Purchase Requirement JO’s from the Corporate Sales team, Retail Stores and In-house Customers  
  • Prepares Purchase Order thru system, enrolls new suppliers and new item codes
  • Monitors, Checks quotations/proposals from Corporate Sales and follows-up accordingly to the suppliers’ required details of orders
  • Oversees/monitors/receives deliveries as received by the Warehouse Representative/s
  • Liaises documents/samples to Suppliers and Testing Companies
  • Directly coordinates with Foreign and/or Local suppliers e.g. sampling with quotation for the Corporate Accounts and Office requirements
  • Data keeping such as Canvas sheets’ preparation and Encoding
  • Delivery / Pick-up of required products e.g. watch straps, back case, Debossing/Embossing samples and mass production from suppliers
  • Conscientiously coordinates delivery of items with the partnering courier providers to the warehouse team coming from the Local Suppliers
  • Ensures on-time availability of merchandise at doors and facilitates pre-delivery requirements including master file buildup, price lists, product sampling.
  • Allocates and updates budget per product category based on trends, forecast, sales performances, stock movement, target market and general direction as determined by management
  • Keeps abreast with new product lines in the market and checks competitors regularly for pricing and purchasing trends.
  • Monitors/prepares timely and accurate payment to suppliers (RFP-request for payment)
  • Coordinates delivery/pick-up of items and samples from the Suppliers and Vendors.
  • Does regular ocular visits and accreditation for the Old and New suppliers
  • In-charge with the repairs and maintenance of retail stores, e.g. aircon cleaning, purchase and replacement of damaged store/office materials, etc.


  • Candidate should be a Bachelor's Degree holder in any related field 
  • Minimum of 2 progressive years of experience in Purchasing
  • Experienced in Apparel, Bag, and Watch purchasing, and with extensive network with local and/or foreign suppliers of various products in Retail/ Trading businesses
  • Knowledgeable in Fabrics and Textile handling is also required
  • Focused, with Strong Administrative skills, organized and keen to details
  • Handles documentation, skillful in warehouse, office and transport procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • With good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Should be very good in English language, both in Oral and writing
