Job Description and Qualification:


  1. Do extensive research and conduct technical feasibility studies for new products. 
  2. Study different food processing technologies for application of focus material.
  3. Perform product development activities from ideation & concept development, prototype development to product launch while meeting project objectives and gate keepers. Coordinate with various departments to successfully execute the new product development process.
  4. Translate high potential lab or bench scale formulations to production batch and perform the trials.  
  5. Establish product formula and process parameters that would meet target cost, quality and production efficiency.
  6. Work on projects and tasks that will be assigned by the R&D Manager.


Job Specification:

  1. Biochemist or Chemist with substantial experience on food fermentation and in conducting technical studies and product development.
  2. Willing to learn, test and adapt new technologies and systems as applicable to the department's objectives, goals and strategies.
  3. Will be based in Pasig office but willing to be relocated in another location towards South. He/She is flexible to travel locally and abroad (should COVID situation allow) to perform research, trials and other studies. 
  4. Has good leadership and project management skills to successfully execute assigned projects and tasks.
  5. Will work on a flexible time schedule to efficiently perform project and research activities.
  6. Has exploratory mindset to keep on qualifying ideas and pursue high potential ones.
  7. Willing to work with a start up team and participate in the development of applicable systems and processes.
